On the Red Velvet
F/9 - 1/300 sec - 200 ISO. With a 100mm lens in front of the objective of the S5000. It is a very little drop of wather (2-3 mm may be) over a red flower petal.

Gorgeous Macro!!! So glad it was chosen as finalist! You have the same camera that I used for quite a while! Do you love it?

I have appreciated this camera for many reasons (10x zoom very luminous, her weight and dimensions) but i'm passed to a reflex (Canon 350D) above all for the delay at the moment of the release... To make a macro like this, I just keep an old 100mm in front of the S5000's lens at her maximum zoom... That's all. However, I am successful to make this only with an S5000, not with the 350D.Thanks to all!!!!! Andrea
