My daughter & I happened on these incredible sheets of color -- whole acres of flower fields in full bloom! Did not touch the colors! They're for real! Near Independence, OR, late afternoon, 18-55mm lens.

The colors are amazing but I love the composition. The trees in the distance and the small slice of sky are great.

Thanks so much, all. It was just stunning to run across these fields of flowers &, with the adrenaline flowing, it was tempting to just shoot from the hip, but I DID reign myself in long enough to think about things like composition & I'm really glad I did & that it showed! Thanks!
