Just visited your gallery, Ken, and you have some wonderful images there...Love your tulips, which are a favorite subject of mine too, but had to comment on Harvest. This is the kind of image one can just look and look at .... so well done. I'm curious: was this a "found" subject or "created"?

Thanks so much, Judith! Created in imitation of Sam Abell's harvest basket found, I believe, in his book, "Seeing Gardens." I'll have to check on that, though. His, of course, is infinitely better, but what I really love about his version is the inclusion of vegetables as well as fruit. I had never seen that before. I couldn't find all the things he had in his basket, so I just did the best that I could.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I am so bloated with turkey, I'm "'bout to explode", to quote Bing. I can't believe I won POTD - I never have before!
I shot this a few years ago with a Nikon N90s and an 85mm f/1.4D nikkor lens on a cheapo Bogen tripod in my backyard in open shade. I shot several pics, this being the closest at 3 ft...stopped down.
I'm falling off now...good night everyone...God belss you all.
