  Thank you, Kathryn L.! I truly appreciate comments about the meaning you received from my work. It doesn't matter that you feel or see it the way I did, but that you did feel and you expressed it to me. That is real praise and is so much better than "awesome shot" or "great capture!"
I understand your interpretation and it is totally valid. Maybe even more so than my intent. I was thinking of how much emphasis is placed on youthful appearances and how this completely bypasses the joy in seeing character lines in faces and how proudly men and women can wear these "campaign ribbons." Age is not a sign of weakness and I think we miss out on the great richness old things and elderly people can bring. My idea is a bit of a stretch and very indirect
No right or wrong view. You were automatically right by feeling and telling. That was your gift to me!
