Any help here would be appreciated. My daughter has some of the most breathtaking hair and it is SOOOO difficult to capture.

oh wow ... mmm ... light is so beautiful in red hair. My sister-in-law has hair like your daughters (well when we were younger ... it's not quite so red now). fair skin too ... wow ... ok well back/ side lighting mixed with reflective light ... is going to be so much easier on her ... and evening sun will have the golden tint ... really, I suggest taking a class from Vik Orenstein here and doing a lot of reading ... and a lot of planning ;) have fun,

If you're stuck with strong side-lighting like this, a lens hood might help...
