Thank you Paulette. It really was a stroke of luck to capture this. I decided to wander among the alleyways of Venice, realizing that I couldn't get too lost on an island. There are so many photo opportunites in Venice, but moments like these are the ones that get me excited. Now if I only had gotten a model release ;-)

Thank you all for the nice comments. Originally I had photos of just the dog in the window, but as I was walking away, the woman came to the window and hugged the dog...I just fired away as fast as I could.
