What a mixture of enchanted surprise and heartfelt disappointment! Your shots were a wonderfully charming experience, especially the mill, but I was sad to see there were not more! Let's get some more up and showing!

The Mill was indeed a stunning and beautiful piece. Being a westerner the beauties of your neck of the woods is a bit foriegn to me but certainly not beyond my appreciation. I hope you can share more shots with us soon.

Your patience was well rewarded, as the flowing water adds such a wonderful touch to the entire composition. The movement provides a great contrast to the perfectly still lake and is a beautiful compliment to those vibrant fall leaves! Quite an enchanting shot!

Lovely picture, lovely place, lovely that it still exists!
There's a ruin, near our cottage, of a stone mill and waterwheel, the reservoir that fed the wheel long since filled-in, and only those intrested (like me) can recognise the remains and appreciate a life that existed in the english countryside some 250 years ago. I just wish someone had captured it, as you have done with your little gem, long before "20th century progress" i.e. a motorway, destroyed a part of my local heritage forever. your photo has this extra meaning for me....thanks Alan
