Gary, Murry, the picture of the two brothers (family) has been scanned from a "Contact Print" made by an other photographer. I enjoyed enchancing it in any way. Frist I removed the dust and scratches(in PaintShop Pro) and then I enlarged the picture. After these actions I colored (original picture was B/W) the picture slightly in PaintShop Pro, giving the above result.Thank you both for your kind words! ;>)

Hi Henny,I am going to have to remove the Contest Finalist status on this one. The terms specifically state that you must be the photographer of the work in order to enter an image into the photo contest. And this makes sense when you think about it... the original photographer is the one who really deserves the credit for his or her work. Everyone reading this: 1) Read the terms before uploading images. 2) Do not scan contact prints - photographers are artists and as such they generally do not make much money. Support them. Even if you pay a fee to buy a set of contact prints, you would still need the copyright holder / photographer's permission to make copies - this is the law. Also, you would still not be allowed to enter them into the contest; only they would. FYI - the reason this one temporarily made it into the finalists is that the judges do not read the discussions prior to choosing winners, for this might unfairly influence their votes. But when any issues like this breach of the terms comes up, we will remove the photo.
