Nice train shot, Kev. I like your PP to soften the image.

Thanks!! In PSP9, I used the "Change to Target Brush", to change the color to B&W. Then, I used a "brighten tool" to brighten up the front yellow only. Then, I used "Soft Focus". I had some digital problems with the sky where the clouds and blue sky meet in the picture, so I used a "Push Brush" to cover the pixel looking problem from the sky.

Kevin, you did a great job on this! Thanks for explaining how you did it too! Love the angle and that part of the road is in the picture too.

Kevin, you used photoshop 9? I haven't seen the new one yet but for any of the versions there are great actions to convert to B&W and then another action to allow you to 'Paint' back some color. If anyone is interested, you can find them by doing a search at www.dpreview.com. They save a lot of time. Even a google search should find them for you as well. Once again, nice job on this one.

Thanks All, Stephen, I have "Paint Shop Pro" 6&9 versions by JASC. The Adobe products have not worked in my PC since the advent of the "fault prone" Windows XP.I have the big photo Shop buy it wont run in my computer.

I know when I got my newest pc with Xp I had to reinstall adobe twice before it worked. But in any event, you're managing quite well with Paint Shop Pro!
