Nice gallery. This is one of my most favorites. How did you set the foreground so bold and the background so subdued...that's what I like about it...such a nice contrast. I'm new to BP too...welcome.

Hi Mary and Welcome to BP! Thanks for stopping. Well, the reason the background is so subdued is that it is pouring down rain. I had been stuck in a studio apt for 4weeks straight while it rained in NY and I finally had had enough. I wanted to get out and get some pics of the changing colors of the fall leaves. So, grabbed my umbrella and took off for this place cause I knew it would be a beauty. Had my umbrella in one hand and camera in the other. Glad you like it. Martin
