Hi Wolfgang: A well-deserved congratulations ... this is such a beautiful shot! In fact, this image makes a great selection for BetterPhoto's monthly "Where in the World?" quiz. It will be featured in the new issue of BP's PhotoFlash newsletter.

So please don't give away the location, Wolfgang - let's see if anyone can come up with the correct answer! I'll check back later to see how things are going.

Yup!

The city I grew up in, and though I haven't been there in awhile, one cannot escape that it's NYC. That's actually the Chrysler building peeking up on the left, the real give-away. (The New Yorker building kinda gives a major clue for those that don't know the other landmarks!)

But you did call it "sunset in the city", and there or not, there's still only one "the city". NEW YORK!

Manhattan. There's the Chrysler building back off centre on the left. What a wonderful city. I'd love to visit again....someday.
