This is a simple BW film image, printed in the darkroom, and the young man, my son, is hand colored with photo oils...this is an old technique used before color film hit the scene...I taught classes in this for awhile. I am afraid it is becoming a lost art with the digital revolution!

I'm very interested in hand-colouring techniques, I'm studying first year at Pretoria (South Africa) technikon and all I do is b&w so colour is very appealing at the moment.
