Thanks Gary! I took three seperate pictures of my son. Then, in my editing program, I created a canvas. (I estimated what size my picture would be when putting all three together and picked a size like 8x10) I then clicked on each individual photo, masked or highlighted the entire image, copied it (Ctrl C) and then I clicked on my canvas and pasted it (Ctrl V). I did this three times, for each pic. Then, when they were together, I blended the area where they were pieced with the clone tool. For an out of focus background a tool like smear works well also.
