Thanks to all you guys, Kathleen, Arya, Cindy, Sanjay, Kara and Adilson.
Cindy, I live in SE Texas just across the Louisiana line so we have swamps and bayous aplenty down here. This was actually taken in a local park. It is a huge pond with cypress trees and "gators" and ducks. I couldn't find a gator to shoot, though.

You've really created an unusual, beautiful, atmospheric image here Marsha. It has such a surreal quality to it but I imagine that it is closer to the feeling of the real swamp than a straight photo of it is. Well done! I hope we see more of it mid month.

Thank you so much, Paula. I am kind of new to Photoshop so I just grab an image and apply every filter to it until I find one that works. Sometimes it works - sometimes it doesn't. I am learning with every step though. I appreciate the boost from comments like yours.

Thank you so much Odelia. Down here in SE Texas we have a lot of "swamps". With a little help from Photoshop and Virtual Photographer you can transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.
