Good low-angle shot... many photos are better from abnormal perspective. Did you use telephoto, or just friendly birds?

Thanks for the comments. No I sat for a couple of hours on a sandbar and the pelican became very friendly. 7mm lens digital (angle of view same as 35mm lens if you were using 35mm SLR). I recieved many strange looks from tourists!
