Alcatraz
This is Alcatraz at sunset taken from the Fisherman's Wharf. I added the moon and the beam of light. The glass is lit up from the reflection of the sunset. I used a 70-300 Promaster lens with a Canon Digital Rebel on a monopod. Critiques welcomed.

Thanks, Donna. I loved looking at your member gallery. I was just vacationing in California and had to see Alcatraz (I live in IN and work in a prison). I tried to make it look like what I had pictured.

Thank you Charlene, I got my monopod at Walmart ... nothing fancy and very light weight. I would like to find one that has a hinge at the top so I can take portrait instead of all landscape shots.

How did you make the beam of light Lori? I've been trying to add sun beams to various pictures but have failed miserably.

AutoFX Mystical Lighting. All of the AutoFX applications are amazing. It wasn't that difficult.
