Gerda, I think the shapes and colors are great in this image! My only suggestion would be to clone out the red car, and the light fixture (to the right of the sculpture). I find them a bit distracting. +Guy

Thank you, Guy, for your kind comments and good advice. I agree with you completely about cloning out the light fixture--I hadn't really been aware of the car until you pointed it out. Actually, I tried to get the light ficture out, but I'm not very good yet at controlling straight lines with the clone tool, and I made such a mess of trying to clone out the light fixture, that I reluctantly decided to leave it in. I'll try again. Practice should help. (I'm still a relative newbie to all this. I received my first digital camera in Jan., 2001.) Thanks again for taking the time to comment. I've seen your photos here and at several other sites on the Web, including Digitalphotochat and loved them. (Gerda)

The Sculpture in Berczy Park This is the modified (distracting objects cloned out) version of the photo I originally submitted and that is included for discussion in The Digital Picture #1

Hello,Thanks to Guy's comment, I did try again--and this time, I didn't give up as esily as I had before. Here are the results of my repairs, and I must admit, I'm quite happy with them. So, thanks so much again, Guy, for taking the time to help. -Gerda
