Neat! I like the original as well. Can you imagine what the countryside would look like dotted with illustrated barns?
You should organize a decorating contest or event where you get the neighbors and people on neighboring farms to decorate their barns, kind of like they did with that cow project, and here they decorated Buffalo statues through out the city, and in canada they did the moose thing. If only real life painting was aa tidy and less laboring as using filters in ps.

I probably shouldnt say anything cause it looks like the only negative comment, but thats what were all here for, our opinions. I use filters too sometimes, and they are great, but your barn picture to me was pretty to start with. I dont understand it looking purple with red dots all over.
I love the original!

Thanks for sharing your opinion John. You're right that's what we are here for. I agree the original looks nice too. I just started playing and liked what I wound up with!! Just a little creative fun. I don't have a lick of traditional artistic ability so I love the whole digital art thing. But I also love hearing different opinions!! So no problem with what you said!!

Marci, you're cool. I see what you are doing. Its good to play I do it all the time. I just really love the old red barn. You know what would really be cool and also be artistic? If you get a regular enhancing filter (made by Tiffen) and shoot it again. This brings out rustic oranges reds and browns and would really make that barn jump out. Yes you do have more than a lick of creativity or you would not have the pretty barn picture in the first place, so there!
