I took this in Taos, New Mexico. This place is open to the public but was not open when were were there, much to our disappointment. I walked around outside, of course, and took what I could find. Since the home dates from the days when a fortress like structure built around a central courtyard (I'm guessing) was needed for protection, the outside is basically adobe wall. This is a side door, about the only thing of interest on the side moreover :)
