Sister, I feel like this mysterious image has an Egyptian or Indiana Jones twist. Like it was built just this way so as the sun passes through the arched wall at noon, but only in the winter, it will shine on this important headstone and then something magical will happen next. (But only if you have all 4 crystal stones in place! ha!)

Delightful framework in making this photo come to life. What a wonderful place you visited as well!!

Kiki, I just turned off the TV with someone making a reference to Indiana Jones, and the first photo I find is this superb capture, which Pom commented on barely an hour ago!
And I agree 100% with her ~ this clearly sacred object probably was tied to a time of day or season or year to make its real magic appear...
Regardless of its history, you composed the scene beautifully. A great frame-within-a-frame image, and I love the clarity of the rock textures, too. Excellent work, my friend!

(We are OFTEN in tune this way, aren't we Mare? Uncanny really. From Pomegranates to naming kitties, to times like this. Ask Kiki about the time I named her photo after a song that was playing in her mind. :) I am connected to my closest people this way. Always have been. Okay, I'll tip-toe out of here now). ;)
