UNEDITED PHOTOTaken with a "Hybrid Rig" consisting of a Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ200 coupled to a Nikon TC-17ED (1.7X) Converter originally made for Nikon's Coolpix 8800. An aftermarket Lens Adapter Tube with a 55-60mm step-up ring allowed the fit. A Nikon HN-13 72mm Polar Filter Adapter fills in as the lens hood. The lens cap is a plastic cover from a can of Plain Bread Crumbs from H.E.B. Overall, this is an extremely effective birding camera with a 35mm equivalent of 1020mm. Aperture priority, 1/640 @ f 4.0, ISO 100, 1020mm, range 92 yards. Llano County, Texas

Yikes. Actually I am almost more impressed with your ingenuity than with the capture. However did you come up with this rigging? Oh...the photo is outstanding too!
