Underwater Flight

This "bird" is actually a leaf floating in air on a single Spider Web strand.
If you look closely you will see the silk thread.
The original was a dull photo, so I jazzed it up.

This abstract was an inspiration from my BP friend, Marilyn Cornwell. I see so many of her wonderful works of art and knew I had to try.

I am including the original to show the difference that editing for Digital Darkroom makes. What fun.

Thanks for this kind dedication. It is very special to get to know you as a friend through BP. There's something magical in making friends this way. Friendships come about in different ways and this is a special one.

All my best, Nancy!

This is a most amazing abstract and I love the DDR work here! Isn't it fun to watch our images transform? I always tell people DO NOT THROW OUT SUBSTANDARD IMAGES! Recycle them! And you have done just that. Some of my best DDR work came from photos that I would have tossed if I was just into "straight photography". Some actually need to be blurry or blown out etc to attain the right end effect.

How neat to see the original and look at where you took it! Amazing!

Great title, too.
