The weather may be horrible but this place sure makes for a gorgeous picture. I wish I could get some of my pictures to have that kind of finish. Gorgeous colors and textures. Love the stone work and it looks like someone piled some rocks for a marker. That sky is such a gorgeous backdrop to the observatory. Love it Terry.

I've been on top of Mt Mitchell, in North Carolina…and I've seen Mt Washington, but never to the top. I know they get very, very strong winds in the winter. They probably put a chain around their waist when they went outside to measure the winds…in the old days. :-) Cool shot, Terry…wish I was there to see some of that wildness!
