Thanks for the kind comments, everyone. Linda, have been using Picasa for years & do not use any others like PS or popular one. As for your question, I usually crop, sharpen, the fool around with the other options. I never do things the same way- dependes on the original quality of the photo. For example the contrast option will be great on one photo and terrible on the next. Wish there were a concrete answer but there is none. I do suggest that you continuously play around with the options until you becaome familiar with them. You just have to become familar with what works on each photo. Thats prob not much help but the best answer I can give. Good luck.

Thanks for your answer Patrick, I do like to play around with photos in Picasa. It is the only program I have, so I will just have to be daring, at least you can go back to the original photo, which I like. Linda
