I converted to B&W in Nik Silver Efex Pro as I wanted to add in some grain to my conversion. I then played around with the colors in an attempt to add a sense of drama to the image. I ended up using blue and dark yellow for the duotone.

    love the drama, mystery.
Great photo. I have never used Nik software. This is a great recommendation.

Thanks Lois! I use a lot of photoshop but Nik Silver Efex Pro is my favorite B&W converter. I did use Photoshop to get the toning for the image.
I love Nik Silver Efex Pro, Nik Color Efex Pro and Nik HDR Pro. I use all three of them quite a bit. They are wonderful shortcuts to Photoshop.

Thanks so much Mike! I made this image for a Photoshop class at Betterphoto. I probably should have come up with a better name for the photo.....
