GREAT SHOOTING of the OTHER NEW YORK !!

Tid Bit Did you know NY State has more forested area than any other of the Lower 48 It's topped on by Alaska up North .

Lake Placid sure brings back memories. We haven't been there since the late 70's. I didn't know that NY State has more forested area than any of the lower 48. Your capture of the area is just stunning and particularly beautiful in b/w, Doug!

While I am not a huge fan of B&W images Doug, I am very impressed with your work on this one! A spectacular sight beautifully captured and presented!

I see you are doing a lot of traveling. I live in New York and have only been close to there once. Would have loved to have been there when they had the olympics. A great capture of this cold place.
