Tid Bit Did you know NY State has more forested area than any other of the Lower 48 It's topped on by Alaska up North .

Lake Placid sure brings back memories. We haven't been there since the late 70's. I didn't know that NY State has more forested area than any of the lower 48. Your capture of the area is just stunning and particularly beautiful in b/w, Doug!

I see you are doing a lot of traveling. I live in New York and have only been close to there once. Would have loved to have been there when they had the olympics. A great capture of this cold place.
