Amazing capture during the blue hour and the building stands elegantly against the sky. I'm pretty sure the story behind this structure makes it truly meaningful for the people.

Amazing is also the word I want to use, Mary. This is really great.
It has always been an awe-inspiring sight and you've added a little mystery to it by the use of perspective and lighting.
I love the gentle light shining on the stones.
Very beautiful and appealing image, my friend.

P.S. I did with the love birds what you inspired me to do in such a 'subtle' way. HA!

Thanks for all your kind and friendly words, Kiki. You know I love to hear your thoughts on the photos I post. :)
P.S. Again, I'm so happy that you posted the lovey-dovey birds! Thanks so much for mentioning me (and Pom)in your description. Really sweet of you, and totally typical!
Hope you and Leif are still celebrating Lover's Day. I may gain a pound or five from all the candy Scott gave me. HE's really sweet, too!!

  And I yours, Mary :)
Actually Valentine's Day is a fairly new concept in Denmark. I don't know how many people in Danmark celebrate it, but I think they keep the florists happy. HEHE!
Leif and I celebrate every day.
I hope you enjoyed the candy :=) That was very sweet of Scott.
