We had giant ones at our first house here. Monster sizes and they would bKids used bite! Kids used to stop and drop parts of their lunch in the big round nest after school! And mowing the lawn was always an adventure for me, Lol).

Gosh, I did a good job of garbling up my words there, Wm. I meant to say that the kids used to walk by after school and drop parts of their lunch in the big ants nest (and watch all the ants carry the food down into the hole!) HeeHee...Cheap entertainment and boy did we have spoiled ants!

The cool part is those are two posts I post there. Together they look like one post of ants and the ones in the center actually cross over at the perfect spots.
