I've been told by a friend who is an avid bird photographer that she is bored with the inflight shots that many photographers accomplish with hugely expensive gear. She may have a point, though I still enjoy viewing those majestic large birds soaring. However true or untrue, THIS image is wonderful, artful, and unique. I'm sure that even my friend would applaud this photo.

Michelle, It would be great to have a motion trigger. Instead I just snap as fast as I can and hope that some of the pictures capture a bird in flight.
