Boy, I don't think I've every seen an animal's nose quite so close up before! I really like the detail on the nose and the hairs. I also like harsh lighting, on many photographs it wouldn't work, but on this one it does.

Hello again Isabel! I wondered when I was going to come to the end of the comments you've received and sent on this one - LOL! ;-) Well done!! Congratulations on making the finals with 'The World of Smell' - it's a really great shot! You said to comment on what we DON'T like about it Isabel...well, what's not to like - except perhaps the thought of you getting THAT close to doggie's nose!! What is her name by the way, and what breed of dog is she? Really wonderful detail - especially on the tip of the nose... Amazing macro shot! :-)
