Great Horned Owl
The Great Horned Owl has tuffs of feathers on the top which are not its ears. Its hunts not by sight but by hearing and the right ear is located under its right wing and its left ear is located over its left wing. How neat is that. The iris of the eye is yellow.

Emile, wonderful image, I have one of these stuffed. It was a road kill that my Son Stephen picked up, had to get a licence from the Gov. to have it mounted, as it is a protected species.
