Jack. It was 115º F when I landed in Phoenix and rented a car ... But, when I got to the Flagstaff and Williams (where I stayed), the temps were mild. And, it was very pleasant up at the South Rim (National Park) - mainly because the rim elevation is above 7,000 ft. If I had to stay in Phoenix - whew ... I wouldn't do it.
