I humbly accept all the compliments and wonderful comments regarding the placement of this image. Thank you very much.

It did feel good to win first place, especially in the people category because that is the direction my photography has taken me in since I started my membership here at BP.

I took a long break from the BP contest and have not entered since the Spring. I decided at the end of August to enter the contest not expecting much. I entered one photo for the month and it placed 1st which is an amazing honor.

Thank you to the BP judges who found something special enough about my image to place it with top honors.
