Teasel Top
Teasel Top

---
We normally shoot teasels in late summer or autumn when the blossoms have gone and the shapely skeleton stands gracefully like a ballerina, swaying in the breeze.
---
For THIS teasel shot, I was standing beside a large pond at one of the stops on the Bucks County (Audubon-sponsored) Barn Tour last July. It's a view of a midsummer teasel, looking down on its blossom.

I don't believe I've ever seen a Teasel before. We may not have them in California. Great clarity and detail, Michelle.

Striking teasel capture, Michelle! Very unique POV, looks terrific with all that wonderful detail and color. But I really like your other teasel capture as well - very classic.

Beautiful capture, Michelle; I like the sepals (?) that have tiny little spikey bits coming off them.
