I found Zion to be very difficult to get many decent images. I only had a few hours there so I couldn't do much hiking to get better shots. It was 104 degrees the day I was there.

Great comp. and capture. We were there in June around the 20th for 3 nights. We did do alot of hiking but it we had temps like yours everyday too. It was also very dry so the waterfalls were dried up almost. Had to hike in the early part of the day. We did the hike in the Narrows at 6am to beat the crowd. This is where we got our best pics. But it did seem to be a harder park to photograph for us too.
