Yes. You are right. The amazing colors are the minerals. They are like a powder. People ask if I have changed the color out to these amazing turquoise colors and greens. It's the most amazing experience to stand there in person, isn't it? You did a wonderful job with this one, Patricia! It almost looks like DDR work on the back left half? VERY COOL whatever it is!

I did a curves adjustment in CS5 to lighten that section since it was so dark.....maybe I should reconsider? what do you think?

Hi Dee & Laura....Thanks for both commenting on this Lake Louise shot....it's not the "typical" We were there early and the fog set a wonderful different mood...guess the judges didn't like it as well ....oh well....It is different...but the color of the lake is what is amazing!
