Thanks, Michelle and Leslie. I was in Jefferson Barracks -- an old and huge military cemetery which borders on the Mississippi River. It is full of deer who are indeed pretty safe and pretty comfortable with people. The fawn's mother felt safe enough I guess to leave her alone. The little fawn was eating and then decided to rest a bit.

What a great capture you made of this fine scene.
