This is one fascinating bird. It's name may give a reason he looks like he is socking in the rays of the sun. You did a most beautiful job with capturing its colors and its marvelous features with this lighting. That is some work girl. Gorgeous job my friend.

Thank you everyone. He was so beautiful. When his wings are open it shows all the beautiful colors. I didn't get one with them open.

Nice catch! Its the one Bittern I have not seen yet, have shots of the American and the least Bittern but not that one....I'm jealous!! Jeff
