Thanks Joannie and Nancy! We were incredibly lucky this evening. We had signed up for a sunset sailing cruise and just happened to see the whales! As luck would have it, I had decided to leave several of my lenses home for this trip...so this image is cropped more than i'd like, but I loved the symmetry between the sail boats and the 2 whales. Blowing their tops was a nice bonus! The lighting was that perfect low-sun, soft light! Paul
