To have this kind of terrain to cross over, the ruggedness, the beauty in colors, the drama of the sky, a lone cactus standing out of it in that shape that is so associated with the wild west. There was a day that Dale and I spent so much time in the desert. Often passing through but I had family there, too. This capture brings it back to my heart one of the many reasons I loved it there. There is no place like the desert and no smells like it either after a good rain. I used top stop at the desert gift shops (connected to Daily queens???) and buy incense made from desert plants. :) !!! I miss those days, Bobby. I am sorry it's so hot there for you right now. Sure did get a beautiful shot standing out there however!!! Great job! -Laura :D
