Some day you should check out the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival in Woodburn Oregon, typically the first week in April. Amazing color....

I would love to visit Oregon for any reason, David! It took me a while to figure out that they just want the bulbs. I had no idea they would de-petal the tulips! LOL
