Thelma's Winter Flower.
Yesterday afternoon my good mate Thelma, invited me down to her garden for a little photo shoot!
I believe this flower belongs to the Bromeliad family, of which the pineapple is a distant relative!
1/13th second, at f11.0 and ISO-100, at 105mm focal length.

Magnificent color and presentation John.
Still without computer so only posting some very old photos before processing was available till get my Apple back. Did get some great shots while in Canada which can not be gotten off CF card till Computer returned. Trying to catch up as I can with office computer.
