Guess this is what you do when theres an huge abundance of Elk Horn in the area . Arches like this are at the 4 corner entrances to the City Park in Jackson Hole . Just outside town in the National Elk Refuge where the US Park Service provides Winter feed for all the elk who spend the harsh winters down in the valley. The Bulls drop their antlers and this is where they end up. Very impressive in person
My take on Jackson is that it's ONE BIG TOURIST TRAP which is a shame.

Yes they are impressive in person. Jackson Hole has the most beautiful airport to fly into or out of for sure in the US in my opinion. The Tetons are right there. Great tourist shot.

Great shot of this very unusual arch, Jack! Been there (a few years ago) and I agree with you, but it's still a special place to see!

This is so cool and I like how the elk get fed through the harsh winter months.

Cool shot Jack of the antlers, you just wonder how many were used to make that arch and then multiply it by four.

So glad your antler information included the fact that the elk DROP the antlers that make up the arches. I was picturing hundreds of hunters more than willing to hunt off-season to "help out" the arch project.
Excellent capture, Jack! Too bad about the tourist trap part.
