To The Memory of the late Harry Thompson.
This remarkable sculpture was carved by artists Stephen King and Stephen Killick.
Captured on my last sunrise walk, at Shelly Beach.
Taken at 1/500th f11.0 and ISO-250, with a bit of HDR work in CS5.

Harry, his wife Jean and children Robin and Neville came to Port Macquarie in 1961 after Harry won £12,000 in the Sydney Opera House lottery.
Harry and Jean set up camp on Shelly Beach and never left.
Everyone remembers Harry as a gentle, honest, ever-helpful man who never swore. For a while he was also the self-elected unofficial Mayor of Shelly Beach.
No one ever saw Harry without something on his head, and Harry's favourite breakfast was two slices of unbuttered bread. Harry passed away on the 31st January 2000.
