Thank you so, so much! A great photographer once taught me that often times less is more and even though this only has two simple elements it completed my hearts story that heaven does know. :)

Just ask my external F: drive that has been broken since September and started back up the in the exact moments that I was sitting here next to it, praying that God please give my Father a message for me!!! I spoke to He and the Angels and My Daddy all at once. I heard the F: drive start up that has been plugged in and silent for who knows how long.

Too uncanny. Heaven must have also known how sad I was over losing all of my prize winners on that drive...What a gift I was given. The entire experience!

I am grateful in every way tonight. And I am grateful for such wonderful support we get and can give here in this wonderful family on BP!

Hi, Pom! Delighted to hear about your answered prayers, and to see such a lovely and creative composite image as a result.
NOT delighted about the loss of your photos. Wish I knew as much about computers as our computer-whiz friend, James. He could probably figure out how to "rescue" them. OR --- I'm just grasping at straws, and giving you false hope. Sorry!!

Mary I hope I can save all of my images. I plan to burn them to disk if it will turn back on for me but I have to be ready and have my instructions near me on how to do this. For now I need to deal with things pertaining to my Daddy passing...

Hey Sis! What a beautiful image! I love the gorgeous blue sky and clouds! Yes, I believe that we are never alone ... that God and His Angels are always watching over us! ... and now your father is too!

Unfortunately, our prayers aren't always answered ... I have a DVD player that won't come back to life no matter how many times I pray that it does. LOL! ... But, God has another plan ... Perhaps he wants me to get a Blu-Ray Player. :D Just joking! I hope you can save all of your wonderful creative images!

My thoughts are still with you as you make preparations for your father's funeral. Hope it all goes well! :)

Don't stop looking for signs. :) As for the Memorial, it looks like September or Oct...so many people re-arranged their lives to be there and the VA didn't come through in time for the service so we will give everyone tons of notice this time around once we hear from them.

Your hard drive breakdown is bummer Laura and I emphasize with you as it is hard to part with all your prized captures. Heaven does know and comforts us for all the arduous experiences and assures us that there will be ever bigger hard drives and more prize winning pictures...as I know you will! Take care.

You guys are so wonderful. You know, in the Bible we are taught not to boast. Not to want to take center stage. It is so hard to stay humble. Our very nature wants attention and to be recognized. Loved.

I don't think God wanted my hard drive to turn on that night to become famous...but I do think he might have powered it up because he knew how deeply sad I was that my Dad had never seen my photo work. Not in recent years.

My Daddy was a professional photographer for many years. He had his own dark room and developed film for so many people....and I was the one kid of his that took up the same love and passsion. Yet daddy lived 1,800 miles from me and went blind from diabetes around the time I got serious about art/photography.

So..he never saw my BP Gallery or Editors Picks or Finalists or Gold Wins. Never.

BUT BUT BUT!!!! He is perfected now. New again. And I prayed to the Lord to send a special message to my Father one night...(not photo related)...and then all of a sudden my F:Drive started up right next to me that had been dead since last September!!!

God knows our hearts, friends. He knows our sorrows...He knew one of mine was that Dad never saw my work.

I think it was Gods special way of telling me, "Little Laura, I have showed your Dad your pretty photos. Have some peace now little one. He is safe in my hands and proud of you for loving life and My world that I created for you that you have taken photos of!". :)

I COULD BE TOTALLY WRONG but I feel it in my heart. :))))

Monnie - If it be Gods Will...That external drive might just spark up for you! :)))))))
