Dave - Not only were we allowed to use tripods, there were six of us there with all of our equipment! The people who work/volunteer there were thrilled to share their passion with us, and encouraged our photography efforts. The Museum itself covers a large area, with outdoor areas, 9 display barns, and a couple of other garages. We chose a time when it wasn't crowded (thanks, Leslie), so there was never an issue with tripods at all.

I asked about using a tripod because the Ca. Railroad Museum in Sacramento will not allow tripods. In fact I was scolded by an angry old volunteer for sneaking one in. Anyway, I'm very happy to see this again. Congratulations on your Finalist selection Lindley and good luck in the next round!!!
