The Bowels of Hoover Dam
1/15s @ f/6.3, ISO 6400, Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8 @ 24mm. (MT-Technology)
Several hundred steps lead down into the bowels of Hoover Dam and this is only halfway...turn around and you will see the same thing going in the other direction. This staircase goes up and down the entire height of the dam, and prior to OSHA's interference in the '60s, was apparently a single wooden staircase with no landings -- making a fall extremely dangerous.

The light is fantastic, Rona! I wish I had taken advantge of touring the dam while we were in Vegas years ago. We've never returned to that area again. A wonderful capture, my friend!
