Frank, this image contains so much detail, from the wood grain, the water drops and of course, the obvious, the engraving on the barrel. Lovely tones and light caught here, giving it wonderful dimension!!

Manufacture of this firearm looks like Uberti made in Italy - reproduction - the frame is color cased harden - barrel markings are proof marks from the inspector who passed the firearm after firing it. Black powder is measured out - ball is placed in cylinder and tapped down with plunger that is mounted under the barrel - grease is placed at the end of cylinder as a precaution as not to have a chin fire, when firing a round off!
Super close up Frank - love all the details and colors in this beauty!!

Anthony, you sure do know your pistols. In talking to the actors, when they were shot for real and not with blanks, special care had to be taken or the one doing the shooting could get hurt.

Wow! What a beautiful close-up image of this wonderful old pistol! The colour, clarity and detail are incredible! Love the water droplets too! I can picture Debbie twirling this on her fingers! I'd watch out for Anthony though ... he seems to know a little too much about guns! LOL! :D Awesome comp, capture and work, Frank! :)
