BOTH THE FOLIAGE & FENCING ARE DUNE SAVERS at least from the wind. Have seen theres serious concern about the beach openings here this summer.
LOTs & LOTs of erosion on the seaward side from tides. Seems the Town State & Army Corp Eng. has all run out of Stockpiled sand to fix it.. The shifting sand has been a hot topic on Long island for decades and is finally reaching CRITICAL STAGE. NO STOPPING MOTHER NATURE ... they have done their best to Slow Her Up ;o)
