On our way to a news assignment in the Kensington neighborhood in Philadelphia on Saturday morning, Bill and I spotted in a paved school yard, tents and canopies being constructed, musicians setting up, a stage being built, and food being brought in. Bill jumped out of the car to inquire about what was happening. A Kensington Summer Youth Expo--worth coming back in a few hours. And we did!

This little girl, about four years old, is the daughter of the DeeJay for the event, and she was dancing by herself on the stage ALL DAY. But now she had herself a potential dance partner. NOBODY coached her...this "come hither" gesture was of her own design!

[On May 4 my computer crashed fatally and it has taken this long (I'll spare you the gore) to get back to halfway normal. I must have been a BAD PERSON in my previous life! I'm far behind in almost everything...will catch up slowly here.]

What an adorable (candid) image...LOVE her expression and I am sure the boy will learn some current dance moves, Michelle! A 'Sweet Moment'!I know of the recent warehouse fire that claimed two firemen's lives. My thoughts and prayers go out to their families, the 'Firefightmen Community'...they are 'brothers', and to the city of Philadelphia. So Sad when we lose those who put their life on the line to protect, serve and keep us safe, My Friend!
